Form extraction

Extract form data

Two extraction methods: PDF forms with fill-in fields (AcroForm) are read directly — 100% accurate, 1 credit. Scanned or image-based forms are processed visually — 2 credits. Upload up to 10 forms at once.

Manual form processing

  • Copying form fields one by one into spreadsheets or databases
  • Manually interpreting and recording checkboxes and radio buttons
  • Processing dozens of identical forms one at a time
  • Treating PDF forms with fill-in fields differently from scanned forms

Automatic form processing

  • PDF forms with fill-in fields (AcroForm) are read directly — 100% accurate, no visual processing needed (1 credit)
  • Scanned or image-based forms are visually analysed with confidence score per field (2 credits)
  • Fields are grouped by section, with field type and fill status
  • Upload up to 10 forms at once as PDF, Word, Excel or email

How it works

How it works
1

Upload your forms

Upload up to 10 forms as PDF, Word, Excel or email. The system automatically detects whether the PDF has fill-in fields (AcroForm) or needs visual processing.

2

Two extraction methods

AcroForm fields are read directly (1 credit, 100% accurate). Forms without fill-in fields are processed visually (2 credits, with confidence score per field).

3

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between AcroForm and visual extraction?

PDF forms with built-in fill-in fields (AcroForm) are read directly — this is 100% accurate and costs 1 credit. Scanned forms or PDFs without fill-in fields are processed visually — this costs 2 credits and each field receives a confidence score. The system automatically detects which method applies.

What field types are recognised?

Text fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdowns, date fields, text areas and signature fields. For AcroForm forms, empty (unfilled) fields are also detected with their field type.

Are fields grouped by section?

Yes. Fields are grouped by section in the export. For example: a form with sections "Personal Details" and "Address" shows the fields grouped by section in the results and exports.

What does form extraction cost?

1 credit per PDF with AcroForm fields, 2 credits per PDF without fill-in fields (visual extraction). Word/Excel files cost 1 extra credit for conversion. Upload up to 10 forms at once.

Can I see if a form is fully completed?

Yes. For AcroForm forms, each field indicates whether it is filled or empty. In the results you see the total number of fields and how many are filled in.
