Change the page size

Resize your PDF

Upload your PDF and choose the new page size: A3, A4, A5, Letter or Legal. Every page is set to that size and the content scales proportionally and centred, so nothing is cut off or distorted.

The difference

The wrong page size causes trouble

  • A US Letter document doesn’t fit A4 neatly at the printer or in the office.
  • Printing with "fit to page" gives a different result on every printer.
  • Your printer asks for A5, but your design is on A4.
  • Changing the size in a design app means redoing the layout.

The right size in one step

  • Choose A3, A4, A5, Letter or Legal and every page gets that size.
  • The content scales proportionally and centred, without distortion.
  • Each page keeps its own orientation, portrait or landscape.
  • Multiple files at once; you get a ZIP back.

What the tool does

A different page size without rebuilding your design.

Five standard sizes

A3, A4, A5, Letter and Legal: the sizes printers ask for most.

Proportional scaling

Content is centred and scaled in proportion, so nothing is stretched or cut off.

Orientation kept

Portrait pages stay portrait and landscape pages stay landscape, even in one document with both.

PDF and ZIP

Upload single PDFs or ZIP archives, up to 200 files at a time.

Use cases

Letter to A4

Convert a US document to A4 before you print or deliver it.

Delivering to a printer

Deliver the page size your printer’s spec asks for.

Flyers and booklets on A5

Turn an A4 design into an A5 version for flyers or a booklet.

Whole folders at once

Bring a stack of PDFs with mixed sizes to the same size in one go.

Frequently asked questions

Is my content stretched or cut off?

No. The content is scaled proportionally and centred on the new size. If the new size has a different aspect ratio, you get a white margin rather than distortion.

Does text stay sharp after scaling?

Yes. Text and vectors stay vector, so they scale without quality loss. Photos keep their pixels, so on a smaller page they actually become sharper.

Can I turn portrait into landscape?

No. The tool only changes the size; every page keeps its own orientation. To turn pages, use the tool to rotate PDF pages first.

Does this add bleed as well?

No, resizing only changes the page size. If your printer needs bleed, use the add-bleed tool afterwards, or the all-in-one make print-ready.

Does it use credits?

Yes, 1 credit per file. New accounts start with free credits so you can try. With multiple files you receive a ZIP.
